Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Mrs. Elvira Gaona. I love spending time with my husband, two daughters and my son in law (Jocelyn, Marcus and Vanessa), and two dogs (Maui and Kona). I enjoy gardening and listening to music. Fun fact: I love to eat ice and Sonic ice is my favorite!
Educational and Professional Background
I received my Associates of Arts from West Los Angeles College and complete the Advanced Core Certificate for Supervisors & Administrators of Children Ages 0-5 through the University of California Los Angeles Extension Program.I have been in began education since1995, where I started at Holy Redeemer School. I began at Holy Angels in 2008 as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and added the title of Early Education Director in 2019.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in a school atmpshere that places emphasis on learning and development where the curriculum is centered around God. I hope to expand your child's creativity and self confidance, while they also learn to socialize, make friends with others and for others.
